Attempting to resuscitate a Bally Wulff Rototron Doppelkrone Super 2 slot machine - Part 1

I recently got my hands on an old german slot machine. Its general state is pretty rough i would say. Dust and other dirt outside as well as outside, as well as rust on a lot of parts of the chassis.

Currently the machine doesnt even light up, but just trips the breaker. I already found a few posts with typical components to check first.

This first post is just to show the general state inside and outside. This thing weighs a lot! The images are AFTER doing a large cleaning pass already.

The previous owners sadly drilled the lock open. This sprayed metal splinter in the inside everywhere as well as made the lock hatch land between the components at the bottom. A shame, i would have loved to attempt to lock pick it. Exact replacement locks are 35 Euros / ea, so even though i would love to keep as much as original as possible, i wont replace those with original ones.

The PSU looks really rough.
